The EU AI Act introduces binding transparency and governance obligations for anyone deploying AI systems — with Article 50 enforcement starting August 2026. Most organisations are not ready. Audact exists to change that.
The Company
Audact Ltd (UK Companies House, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ) holds the patent portfolio and brand. Engineering is Netherlands-based. EU hosting in Frankfurt.
Team
René — Founder, Product & Strategy. Manages product direction, patent portfolio, and go-to-market.
CTO — builds the Go platform with an AI-augmented development workflow.
Intellectual Property
Audact has filed 44 patent-pending families at the UK Intellectual Property Office (UK IPO) covering over 330 individual claims across AI governance, compliance attestation, data residency, and agent orchestration. UK IPO is used as the priority authority — English-language prosecution, standard 12-month PCT window, strong IP jurisprudence. PCT international filings begin Feb 2027.
Technology
Our platform is built as a Go monorepo backed by PostgreSQL and Redis, running on AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1) to ensure EU data residency. The architecture is modality-neutral — voice-first today, expanding to chat and other channels.
