Audact enforces what your organisation allows a machine to cause on its behalf, and shows afterwards what happened. A mandate sets the ceiling, the scope and the expiry before the action runs; anything above the line is stopped, and the stop is recorded; and what did happen leaves a compliance receipt. Voice is the first application built on it, with the EU AI Act Article 50 disclosure inside the call and a check on what an agent may say about price, product and commitment before it is said. The company is held in London, trades from Dublin, and its primary application hosting is in Frankfurt.

Structure

Two companies, one business.

The split is deliberate. The intellectual property sits in one place and does not move when commercial arrangements change, and customer contracts sit with a company inside the EU.

Where it runs

Hosting in Frankfurt: EU-based, not EU-exclusive.

Primary application hosting is AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1); a backup region in eu-west-1 Ireland is being set up. Hosting is EU-based rather than EU-exclusive: a number of sub-processors operate outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. The full list, and what each one touches, is in the Trust Center.

The platform is a Go monorepo backed by PostgreSQL and Redis. The architecture is modality-neutral (voice first, with chat compliance in development) because the obligation attaches to the interaction, not to the channel it arrives on.

How we work

AI-assisted engineering, with human review.

We use AI-assisted engineering, with human review on product behaviour and security. Review is the part that is not delegated: anything the platform states about a call has to hold up when someone reads the record back.

Intellectual property

A patent-pending governance stack, filed at the UK IPO.

The portfolio is held by Audact AI Ltd and covers: validation before dispatch, per-interaction compliance receipts and evidence chains, Article 50 attestation, per-jurisdiction policy, data-residency proof and multi-agent governance. René Rijvers is named inventor on the earliest filings in the portfolio.

Priority dates start in February 2026, with the twelve-month decisions for the earliest group between February and April 2027; later families were filed through 2026 and carry their own dates. Everything in the portfolio is filed and none of it is granted: an enforcement right arises only on grant, and that is years away.

Related party

Tirza IP Limited, disclosed in full.

Tirza IP Limited shares a shareholder with Audact's founder. That overlap is disclosed rather than presented as a customer win. Inter-company pricing is cost-plus, and Tirza's use of the platform is an internal reference deployment: not an independent design partner, not arm's-length customer evidence, and not counted towards reported traction.

Are the patents granted?
No. They are filed applications at the UK Intellectual Property Office, the earliest with priority dates in February 2026. Filing establishes a date and a defensive position; it does not confer an enforcement right, and it does not mean a patent will be granted.
