1. Data Controller
Who runs this site, and who is the controller for it. The imprint names AUDACT AI LIMITED (Ireland, CRO 822514) as the company that operates this website and signs customer contracts. Operating the site and being the controller for what it stores on your device are two different roles, and here they sit with two different companies. This page does not assert that controllership has moved to the Irish company — section 1 of the privacy policy sets out both roles and what changes when it does. The controller for the cookie use described below is:

3. Legal Basis
Essential cookies are processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest. These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and do not require consent. We do not use any cookies that require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
4. Our Approach
Audact uses strictly necessary cookies only. No tracking cookies are set. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, marketing trackers, or any third-party advertising tracking scripts.
6. Browser storage
Cookies are not the only way a website can put something on your device, and a cookie policy that only talks about cookies is incomplete. Audact writes nothing to local or session storage when you arrive: measured on 27 August 2026, both were empty on every route tested, in all three languages.
All storage described here is strictly necessary, so under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, as implemented in national law, no consent is required.
What can still be written, and only if you dismiss it yourself: audact-sticky-cta-dismissed and audact-exit-intent-dismissed, both in session storage. They record that you closed a panel so it does not reappear on the next page, and they are gone when you close your browser. Nothing in them identifies you, and nothing in them leaves your device.
There is no cookie preference manager, because there is no optional cookie to switch off. If that ever changes, the choice comes back before the cookie does — not after.
7. Third-Party Cookies
We set no third-party tracking or advertising cookies. No advertising network, social media widget, or external analytics service places a cookie through our website — measured on 27 August 2026 across the routes named in section 5, where the only cookie observed was our own.
The site is served through AWS CloudFront, which sets no cookie of its own. An earlier version of this section carried a caveat about a Cloudflare bot-protection cookie (__cf_bm); Audact does not use Cloudflare, so that cookie never appears and the caveat has been removed.
8. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser

9. Your Rights
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (GDPR Article 7(3)). Since we only use essential cookies that do not require consent, this right applies if we introduce any optional cookies in the future.
