Plugin v1 feature scope

  • Article 50 disclosure-banner injection. Per-page injection, lazy-loaded so it never blocks Core Web Vitals. Configurable per-language fallback and per-route exclusion list.
  • C2PA-light synthetic-content marking. AI-generated post images get a lightweight C2PA-compatible provenance record embedded in the image metadata at upload time.
  • Audit-trail link to verify.audact.ai (launching). Every disclosure embeds a one-click verifier link so that, once the public verifier is live, a visitor, journalist or regulator can confirm the record without ever leaving WordPress.
  • “Powered by Audact” upgrade-prompt. A discreet in-dashboard nudge to upgrade to Audact Score when usage volume hits the Bronze-tier threshold. No popups; no nags on the public site.

Installation walkthrough

  1. 1. Download. Grab the ZIP from this page or search “Audact Article 50” on WordPress.org.
  2. 2. Upload via WP admin. Plugins → Add new → Upload plugin → activate. Three clicks.
  3. 3. Enter your Audact API key. Required for the verifier-link feature. Sandbox-tier key is free; produces a clearly-marked test attestation.
  4. 4. Configure disclosure script. Choose default language per Member State, exclude any routes that should not display a disclosure banner (e.g. /privacy, /imprint).
